This polished Georgian style register grate has been created in the manner of Robert Adam is composed of a polished steel surround and is decorated with three roundels to the top, each with a floral motif.
The 3 bar integral basket of this early 20th century piece is flanked by two flame top finials that rest upon scrolling bow and ribbon motifs that trail underneath.
The grate has a beaded edging and would make for a very attractive feature to a chimneypiece renovation.
